Fun Poll: Ryu Sprites

I was gonna include sprite images here, but I don't wanna bleed anyone's bandwidth



Ryu has been around since 1987, and he has appeared in many different forms.

Which one is your favorite?

C'mon, include the sprites. The modems will deal. I vote SFIII due to godly animation. Cap VS SNK is really close though. It was actually a tough call. Let's rank them....

Agreed...

That said, Alpha/Zero Ryu. This sprite animates so well on X-Men vs. Street Fighter that it rivals the SF III sprite.

I must say that the Alpha Ryu looks too "cartoony" and rubbery and the SFII (and SFIII) Ryu looks too detailed.

The CVS version is a great in-between.

Hmmm.. Tough choice, however. I sorta like the SFA sprite and the CvS sprite a bit... I'll go with SFA.

Note: The PF Ryu sprite is pretty nasty... His head is ugly.

Yeah, well, I found a returned NGPC w/ Sonic at a local Best Buy the other week for $40 (wow, talk about a random find), and of course MOTM was one one of my first acquisitions after your glowing review.
