I like it, it's a rather nice painting. The black bar on the side isn't too great though, it's got too many logos at once there. Having just the Ikaruga logo over there (or even having it fill the entire black bar) would look much nicer.

Certainly much better then a CG shot, and it's also rare to have a good painting on game covers. I'd probably prefer this over a handdrawn anime-style shot as well, just because of it being different, and not in a bad way.

I think something similar to Radiant Silvergun's cover would have been just fine...

Well the picture is gorgeous, like all the ikaruga art, but the way its put together is uninspired at best. Looks like a rush job. Still it is a nice picture.

the cover art is exactly what i expected, minus the black bar on the right.. i thought they'd put the ikaruga logo in the middle of the painting like they had on the old pic on the treasure site..

still, i agree they could've chosen better, what with all the incredible ikaruga artwork out there..

speaking of that, has anyone else found the .zip file full of .tif files of ikaruga artwork that came off the arcade GD-ROM??

if i find the link i'll post it.. some great stuff in there.
