Ikaruga [DC, GC, XBLA, PC]

I am now permanently setup for VGA TATE gaming, as I procured my wife's old PC monitor from her parent's house for the duty.

Now today at work I find myself picturing all the PC monitors turned counterclockwise and wondering how they'd look with Ikaruga blasting away on them. Sad but true.

I honestly think Ikaruga is the best shooter I've ever played. If not, it's definitely way up there. Pretty much all of my complaints about RS were addressed, and all the things I liked about RS remain intact, and the new stuff is all welcome. Too good.

Anyway, I think it looks absolutely gorgeous in VGA. I couldn't even read the text when I had it thru my composite TV.

Easier to see low poly counts and jagged edges and stuff that you don't really notice on the TV. Not that it isn't still gorgeous. The texture work is downright scary.
