Yes, there is a way to display Dreamcast component output on a TV, even progressive output on an HDTV. You need a VGA to Component converter though, and they aren't cheap. This one from Audio Authority is popular for that purpose, but it runs near $100.Stupid question, but there\'s no way to run a DC through component, is there?

I thought the analog stick might have been supported, but apparently not. It would be cool as an unlockable extra, but i highly doubt it.
I can see how the GC controller would be nice for firing and switching colors, since it's ideal for hitting 2 buttons at the same time.
I usually don't go on about graphics in a game, but it has so much visual style. You can see such small details, and you notice new things each time you play.
It doesn't have good graphics "for dreamcast", it has good graphics for ANY system.

Yep, believe it or not. For instance, I beat Jedi Knight II two days before it came out in stores and it took me five days to do so, that was about a week ahead. Main problem is, many only pirate and don't buy the full version, I only pirate when I desperately want something and make sure to buy it (unless I despise it) one it's released. However, I've managed to hold out on even trying to find Ikaruga to burn (which wouldn't affect sales, seeing as how mine was paid for about a month ago), and I shall remain that way. I don't think that's correct, they do work with boot discs. A Game Shark Lite or Cheats 'n Codes Vol. 1 disc ought to work just fine for Ikaruga in VGA.I'm currently looking into getting a VGA box, so I can play Ikaruga and GGX on it...one problem, I've read they don't work with boot discs?

Also, I always, and I mean always, enjoy things that I purchase more than things that I pirate. Every once in a while, when I pirate a game, I simply don't have half as much of a desire to play it as I would if I had purchased it. Odd, really.
A note about the GC Ikaruga has surfaced. The game will not get any new levels (like RS did) in the port, instead Treasure said there will be a few new play modes.

Dammit, I pre-ordered my copy of the game on April 5...that's 5 months to the day before the official release date tomorrow.
And NCS hasn't shipped my game yet.
Which means that with my 2-day shipping, even if it goes out tomorrow, I won't get the game until next Monday now, as UPS does not deliver on Saturdays. What a waste of $10. I should have just chosen freaking Priority Mail for four bucks.

I put the disc in the CPU to see if there was any new art. There are 5 large bitmaps, and I think they have all already been circulated on the web.
One thing I was unsure of was the picture of the young looking guy, that says "I'm not regret". Goes hand in hand with shine get.

That depends. If it's the standard Utopia boot disc then no. If you have the VGA patch then it should(Though when I tried to burn the boot disc with the patch it didn't do crap...). Gameshark will work just fine though.
