Dolphin Blue from Sammy

Revived from the new, eh old dead Gaming Discussion board. I am officially excited. MagicBox reported that Sammy will out a new game with gameplay similar to that of our favorite Metal Slug series from SNK called Dolphin Blue. This is the second game to follow in MS' footsteps in arcade. First one is Demon Front from IGS. This game looks pretty good but somehow I think it will lack the hilarious comedy present in Metal Slug. It looks similar to their last action game called Dyna Gears. The screen shots just look too serious.









Best thing of all is it is on the new Atomiswave hardware, which is based on our favorite immortal beast, the DC. Here's the link for the system information on Atomiswave hardware:http://www.system16.com/sega/hrdw_atomiswave.html. If there's enough feedback from people maybe they'll port this one to the DC. That Konami producer said that there's still a market for these type of action arcade games since he's making Contra: SS with 2D play mechanics. Anyway, cool game, hope it makes it to America.

BTW: If anyone is interested in reviving any threads which you posted on the short lived new board, all you have to do is search for your text in the content of all files in CWindows\Temporary Internet Files. It's all there, even text.

Weird indeed. Its nice to see something fresh in a very small genre of games. Trying to picture a man holding a Machine gun while riding on a Dolphin in real life is pretty funny.
