I refuse to beleive this game will be anything other than crap. The original was pretty average when it was released. I can't imagine the years have been kind.
I recently saw some killer new coverage of Rygar on G4's news program, Pulse. They showed off a lot of excellent new gameplay footage and interviewed the producer. After seeing it, I can honestly say that Tecmo has successfully pulled off Rygar in full 3D.
Great footage that you must see if you get G4 on your local cable service.

You will believe, nonbeliever...
i really liked the nes version...even though the arcade version was very simular i just couldn't get into it...
I never played the NES one. I didn't like the arcade one, and the Lynx one wasn't selling me either. Maybe that's my problem.
I was never a big Rygar fan and am still puzzled as to why Tecmo chose to revive it.
Reviving old properties is big right now, and apart from Tecmo super bowl and Ninja Gaiden, Rygar's probably their biggest 8 bit franchise.Originally posted by Yoshi

I think the NES one is much more enjoyable than the arcade/Lynx one so I still recommend it to those that haven't played it.
I actually prefer to the arcade original to the NES version, and enjoy the Lynx port as well, so I'll be looking forward to this.
