Awesome game of 1988, right?
It was the first shooter that I EVER beat on one credit.
What makes this cool is that you can power-up your B-weapon, which meant the ease of destroying some enemies or certain death.
The music owns!

I haven't played it in many years but I remember it being fun. Pretty much every SNK arcade game is good.
Darn good stuff.
This was one that ADK actually made (by the way, the cut scene between levels reminds me of Time Soldiers).
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
On the JP board, you don't even see Alpha on the manual. instruction card or anything. Ironically enough you can see it on the chips themselves....
What's really ironic is that Sky Adventure seems to use a very similar engine-and it DOES have the Alpha logo on it.

The pilots resemble the guys in Time Soldiers (from the ending).
