You're right - getting anything built or delivered is a nightmare!
Sweatshop - yeah if you're on the roof sunbathing!

That said, the simplest way to succeed is to focus on the winning criteria. In these two I established industries, ploughed vast sums back in wage increases, and made more industries and tourism.

Pay rates (once you have basic facilities) I think are the major factor in happiness. I just revisited Mi Corazon and had max 10 people voting against me. Ended up with half happy or content, 2 people hated me.

I give those lazy SOBs big bucks while the queue for the doctor reaches round the island. Mwah ahahahaha!

How many mines did you have in the scenario 'Devils Deal' ? cause i had like 7 + a temsters office convienetly placed and a second dock and yet failed to meet the export requirement.

yes - you need 3 teamsters offices.

also, you don't need 2 docks, as it's a complete lottery which ship lands where, and whether the dock workers are there etc.

important is a road link from the mines to the dock.

Actually that is not true about docks.... The more docks you have the better. With more dockworkers, you have a better chance to have one or two who are actually hauling off goods.

As Brf points out, more docks do help.

It is not a "lottery," as in gambling, where the ships go. They go where there are goods to be picked up.

The dock workers attend each dock not randomly as in a lottery, but by the rules of employment and personal satisfaction of all Tropicans.

The placement of the docks as related to the distance the teamsters need to walk from the mine(s) plus the volume of goods at each dock is critical.

Yes, roads may "speed" the teamsters.

Three teamster offices eh so whats the ratio between teamsters offices and economical structure i.e how many temster offices do you have per factory mine etc ?

I usually have one per three sources, but of the resource is not moving fast enough, build more.
