I got the Muchomacho without own any previous versions, and Tourette's syndrome is not on my list of flaws for random maps. When did it get dropped?

I got the Mucho Macho without owning any previous versions, and Tourette's syndrome is not on my list of flaws for random maps. When did it get dropped? Is that the Apple/Mac or PC version, and is it the English language version? Actually, even with those answers, it's really beyond this poor group of users to scope out why and in which production run that change might have happened. In my opinion, anyway. It's certainly the first time I recall anyone mentioning such a change here.

PC, and English language. Oh well, I was just curious. It seemed like an interesting option. It was in some ways. It must have caused some very negative feed-back. So far as I am aware, there was no "patch" style change made which would allow identification of when the change was made. I thought it might have been something involved in the "port" to apple format. I think we have to conclude that it was one of those "midnight hour" changes made before a new batch of CDs was burned. "Lazy" (Overall Productivity -10%) certainly smacks of "quick & dirty" change.

Strange indeed, as I play MM for Mac and don't have any 'Lazy' trait. I wonder, one brow, what's your game's version - like 1.0.3?

There are a bunch of codes around the center on the shiny side of the CDs that are probably what will identify the difference. All you have to do is decode them.

@ Teamstar, I asked if he had the MAC version because I thought the change could have been part of the "port." Since he has a PC version with the change and you have the MAC version without the change, obiviously it has nothing to do with the "port" from PC to MAC.

All you have to do is decode them. Well, I'll check that tonight, and let you know. Not that I'm about to decode them.

I have him, but I got the Mucho Macho Edition. Might have something to do with it. That's the point! One Mucho Macho for PC has Tourette's and another Mucho Macho for PC does not - it has lazy instead. Discovering which is which is the question up just now.

I still haven't posted those numbers, sorry. However, I'm sure you will all get a kick out this. You can't be have the Diplomat strength and the Lazy flaw at the same time. However, you can be both Hardworking and Lazy. Talk about a rush job!

Np. Hey One Brow I was thinking last night maybe we got some kind of fluke version that wasn't supposed to make it out. It would be cool if my 2 dollar copy turned out to be worth something one day. Doubtful but it would be cool

Doubtful but it would be cool Actually, I wonder if they even bothered to change the code underlying the choice. Is there a way I could check if I still got the Tourette's money while choosing "Lazy"? I doubt that badly enacted changes from the original game will ever be worth much, but who knows?

Actually, I wonder if they even bothered to change the code underlying the choice. Is there a way I could check if I still got the Tourette's money while choosing "Lazy"? ... We never got around to answering that question. There is a lot more information on the disorder available easily on the 'net' now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourette_syndrome"Tourette's was once considered a rare and bizarre syndrome, most often associated with the exclamation of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks (coprolalia). However, this symptom is present in only a small minority of people with Tourette's. Tourette's is no longer considered a rare condition, but it may not always be correctly identified because most cases are classified as mild. ... Extreme Tourette's in adulthood is a rarity."Perhaps it was the S1,000 Pay-Per-View Revenue that got it dropped as a flaw. That's really the politically incorrect part. "Coprolalia encompasses words and phrases that are culturally taboo or generally unsuitable for acceptable social use; it is usually expressed out of social or emotional context, and may be spoken in a louder tone or different cadence or pitch than normal conversation. The phrases uttered by a person with coprolalia do not necessarily reflect the thoughts or opinions of the person, and are embarrassing to the person uttering them."Emphasis on that part of the disorder is inappropriate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sociological_and_cultural_aspects_of_Tourette_syndrome#Notable_individuals
