Installation Problem

First, I'm using XP Professional and I have Tropico 1 "normal"

Second, when launching the Setup I always get an error that the program needs to be terminated.

Whats wrong?

I don't know what Tropico 1 "normal" is. So it is hard to answer.

Perhaps you could be a bit more descriptive.

I don't know why two guests are looking at this.

I'll guess that overthere (from Germany) means he has the first published disk when he says "normal" - that is, version 1.00 .

First, he would have to set Windows XP to a mode in which it would pretend to be Windows 95.

Then he would have had to search around for the patch to get to version 1.09 so the game would be stable and run.

If he were here today, I would say - dump the "normal" disk unless you are a technical collector, and go buy the cheap, final edition. Then set your stupid Windows OS to recognize antiques.
