Spring Break

  Hey any tips on suriving the spring break senario. It is the one where you have to make a whole lot a money in tourism, and get at least 40 spring break touristes in one year. How do you keep the spring breakers from rioting? I have 3 cops and when my first riot started they did nothing.

To avoid Spring Break Riots you have to keep them happy.... with plenty of entertainment that they can afford.

What form do these riots take? Are you referring to the memo that says the students are "not too polite", advises you to hire more police, and comes with a crime increase, or something else?

I have never experienced a full riot, but I think they start tearing things down or something....

Well, I did a bit of reading and it turns out I needed to have the patch to see a riot. So I got that, loaded up the save, fired all my cops, overpriced all the drinks and sat back to watch the fur fly. From what I've seen, they throw rocks at structures like in the popular revolt and stop when they feel like it.

Yep, that's my experience too.  If I remember correctly, the only entertainment (tourist or non) on the entire island was one pub (And I'm sure that part is correct, because that is usually the only entertainment I provide)--the part I am wondering about is that I think my rioting spring breakers actually tore down the only pub!

I suggest to try and build nightclubs and cabarets for the men. Also try building another cheap hotel and beach and hire police at the beginning when hiring overseas labor is cheap. If that doesn't work try saving up and build attractions and then issue the spring break package and the island will be flooded with tourists.
