** The Tropico 1 City Builder Challenge **



Mission:
Build every type of buildings available on Tropico 1. This means you'll have to build 71 different buildings, including all types of factories, fountains, statues and roads.

You have a starting fund of $12,345 pesos, a 25% discount on building costs and 70 years to complete the mission.

Get extra merit for building a Botanic Garden exhibiting all Tropican plants and flowers.


Rules:
#1 Use the map attached.
#2 Don't use the rapido cheat or any other cheat.
#3 You don't have to build all variations of buildings (ie: blue house, country house).
#4 You don't have to upgrade buildings (ie: airport, factories, logging camp, mines).


Map:
#1 Download the map bellow.
#2 Place it inside the Tropico/Games folder.
#3 Load it as a saved game.

Here's a glance of my first attempt. I have to confess that an important building is missing: my very own statue!!!! I only notice it with just one month left, my laborers couldn't build it on time.  I'm glad I had to built a prison, they're all going to jail!!







EDIT: I didn't build the Botanic Garden either.

Is the map set to 'immigrants out'? I don't see any boats arriving, or did I mess up when I placed my dock on a nice sandy portion of the northern coast?

No, it's not set to "immigrants out", the special circumstances are set to "none".

Maybe starting a new map will help?

I build up everything but got not much money at the end 

The begin isnt very easy (you have to build farms[food] port [export, immigrant] Teamster's Office) and have to manage that all are emploeyed.
But THX for a great challenge

I like your tourism area, you virtually built one of each! And that furniture factory looks so nice, next to the hotels.    It almost looks like a tourist accommodation itself.
