Hey Coconut Kid! How's it goin'?

Well, I must sincerely thank you for taking the time to read and respond to some of my thread posts. Granted, not all of my suggestions, ideas, comments, etc. are necessarily or completely fesable -- they're just things that came to mind.

Pertaining to your comments about the origin of cruise liners, I know only very little. The first vessel developed for such a commercial purpose was the Prinzessin Victoria Luise, completed in 1900 (and it was on the Hamburg-America line, if I'm not mistaken).

But not to get off on a tangent -- for our intents and purpsoes (i.e. the Caribbean theme), I think that the Royal Caribbean International brand came into existance in 1968. Princess Cruises came about 2 years earlier. And Carnival Cruises came into existance in 1972. And lest we forget that 1970s program: "Love Boat?" Hehehe! So, let's say that perhaps by the late 1960s or early '70s, once you get your tourist infrustructure in place, such cruise lines can be made available at Tropico's ports!
