If you enjoy Travian, you will like this game:

Ikariam

It uses a similar game engine, but it is set in the Ancient Mediterranean Age, with a sci-fi, alternate universe twist.

Players, through research, can invent gunpowder and steam engines, earlier than in the real world.

I much prefer the Ikariam graphics to those of Travian.
