Won't survive

My family and I might be going on a trip next weekend and my laptop won't be fixed by then.  What could be worst?  It's a trip to the mountains (camping) so I won't have a cell phone signal and I won't be able to get an internet connection.  I hope this trip is canceled because a weekend without technology is murder.  Another thing is if they think I'm driving in my car to the mountains and wasting my gas they... are... crazy!  If we go I'm carpooling, and no one better complain about all my luggage because I tend to pack a lot.

A weekend without tecnology looks pretty good to me. You'll get back with all sorts of wishes and needs. When I go away, i tend to leave all the usual habits behind and do things I usualy don't, like grow a beard or something.

But... this summer I took my laptop with me for the first time. Yes, it's contraditory, but I enjoyed meeting my (working) friends on Facebook and making then envious of my "Daiquiri Hemingway Cuba Style" cocktail.

I guess your right.  It could be fun to just hang out in nature like I use to when I was a kid.  But I must still have my IPOD when I go.  I am not an animal

I agree, iPod it's a must.
I enjoy my vacations on the lake, I take my canoe to the very middle of it, I turn on my iPod and relax for a while, with my foot or my hand on the water.

Oh that sounds blissful.  I don't know if we'll have a canoe but there will be a lake nearby.  Maybe I'll lay next to it with my iPod and relax.
