Well James Stevens, who visits this site, received his by pre-order on the 11th Jan 2002.

Maybe if you want to contact him via IM he could help you out.

Granted he is a fellow Brit like me, so you may have to pay in 'funny money' as opposed to U.S $$, but it is worth enquiring at least.

Saw it in the shops here (UK) on wed 23rd at cost UKP 19.99
I didnt buy it because I dont know if it is any good !

anyone know if the AI has been improved ? The AI in the original made me give up (that and the micromanagement)

Nice to know that  we get something in the UK first for a change !

Hey Silverback. I think you'll find the AI feels slightly improved, but that could just be the enhanced build time kicking in. The micromanagement is the same, so knowing how Tropico didn't grab you I don't think you'd be overly-impressed with PI.  :-/

Thanks Mr.P -  I know someone at work is going to buy the pack - Ill see how he finds it, and also what the reviews say before I make any decisions. If building is much faster than in the 1.04 patched version I was running then I may just buy it, the slow build time was definitely a negative factor

Maybe you're right. PI did come out awfully fast though. Maybe wait for patches first?
