...does anyone know if there is a patch out yet for the uprisings?  i seem to get uprisings from time to time, and without a patch, every time i get one it effectly ends my reign...  just once i'd like to be able to crush the spirit of my people... *oppresses the masses*

 It happened to me.

I had an uprising in a game I was intending not to save anyway, so I decided to let it run and see what the outcome was.

This time it didn't crash, which has happened during previous uprisings fairly soon into it.

The uprising went on for years!  Even though no one was working because they were all rebelling, the ships continued to come in.  With no one to unload them, they nevertheless poured out immigrants who immediately became traitors.

I wonder now if I shouldn't have set the pay down to discourage immigrants....  but it was definately a losing battle when the loyalists slowly decreased in number (they were outnumbered from the beginning anyway) and the number of traitors steadily increasing.

I finally got so bored with it in the third year, I exited the game.  I was down to something like 14 loyalists against many more traitors, whose numbers were only getting higher.  I thought it was pretty clear what was about to happen.
