No Musica

I started Tropico and there was no sound. so i rebooted, thinking trouble with soundcard, as i had closed musicmatch after opening tropico.
still no sound
as i'm currently having trouble with my PC, i said, 'on no not my soundcard too (not that i care about it-cheap IBM piece of ****, and i won't accept GameVoice). Oh well i'll play Tropico for a bit, then i'll recover my machine.'
Loaded game
'Sounds stuffed still, might as well try hardware mode and crash it (yes i know about safe mode)
Went into settings:
Music Volume: 0%
Sound Volume: 0%
put both to 100%
no more problems
though it happened another time

CR:  That happened to me once also.  It hasn't happened since, and I am not sure what I did.  I wonder if there are some undisclosed key combinations that disable sound.

also i was playing and the graphics suddenly went sh*t
i rebooted, then went into settings thinking hardware mode or something was on, and guess what
i was playing in 640 x 480-how it moved down i dunno
