Question: Whats the best map editor ???

Whats the best map editor Im new to this...u know im tired of that little map editor  that comes with the game so any comments ? thanx

I have only heard of the one map editor. It seems to work fairly well, even if the interface for it is non-existent. I don't recall it being full of commentary either. Since I loaded the game in May, I have only seen the one map editor.

Are you maybe refering to scenario editor? If so you might want to try checking the scenario board elsewhere in this forum.

There IS only the one map editor that came with the game.

The other option you have is to import grayscale bitmaps that you've made in other graphics programs. These need to be in PCX format.

The instructions for the map editor (and the importing) are included with the download. Its a pretty good editor.

Are you looking to add units or buildings?

As for scenarios, the best editor is notepad. Actually the best editor for anything is Notepad, provided you have the time to hand code...
