Ok just for fun. If you were a Tropican what factions would you be in and how devoted would you be? Use your own personality to figure it out. Use the little plus symbols as they do in Tropico to convey your feelings towards the Tropican factions.

Religious+++ Intellectual++ Capitalist++ Environmentalist++ I want my cathedral, I want my college (or at least a Barnes and Noble with the prerequisite Starbucks) I want my industries up and running (but they better not pollute), and I want to live in a luxury house in an unspoiled part of the island. BTW if I have to go to some free clinic instead of a hospital I'm going to tear someone a new one. Also, the anti-littering edict better be on, because if I see one more person throw their garbage on the streets of MY island I'm gonna lose it  (Anyone ever read Hiassen?) Oh, and can you please do all this without raising my taxes?  |

Definitely an intellectual because of my views on education.
Strong capitalist leanings although I do have reservations about the worst excesses which ties into a weak environmental view.
No military leanings (sorry MrP), religious tendency, and definitely not a commie.

Relax Man! The question was if *I* were a Tropican... etc. Topico and MY personality would come up that way. These capitalist/communist mixes exist in the game, and I kind of like it. Communism and capitalism coexist well in Tropico. * Geeze, ya buy their books, you send them to Tropico U. and... * In reality my opinion is that there is good and bad in both captalism and communism. Communist +++ ' the money our island makes, goes to the greater benefit of our island (plus some fees to the swiss banking agency of course)
Intelectual ++ ' smart people understand that the way to go for our great island is to produce what your skills and abilities let you, and the state will give you what you need (wich is of course not very much)
Military + ' Not all tropicans are smart enough to understand the above point. Everyone understands a good old fashioned AK 47. To bad we cannot invade our capitalist neighbours.
Religious - ' Who needs a god when you have presidente to provide for your every need!!!
Environment - ' Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, think about all the free medical service and education that old mine has paid for!
Capitalist - ' Bah, capitalists, they should all be shot dead. Who needs money anyway. Free health care, free education, free food, free jobs (no pay(what do you need that for)), free housing (you can't charge those stupid shacks anyway), free entertainment (yes, eating rocks is free on our magnificent island.)
