If not you, then who? If not now, then when?

I had another disturbing dream about Tropico this afternoon while I slept.  (I work night shift, so sleep in the day)

I was on an island as just a regular guy.  Not a dictator, rebel, peasant, Spice Girl, etc.  Just some guy.  A ship came in with food from another country and the ship was unloaded.  I was at the market waiting to buy the food, but then I realized I had no money.

I watched as the people bought the food eagerly and took it home with happy looks on their faces.  I could do nothing but stand there looking hopeless and lost because I had foolishly forgotten my money.  Eventually the last of the food was purchased and the marketplace was deserted.  I stood there and looked around as even the janitors left after doing their job.

Eventually, as the moon rose higher in the sky I sighed heavily and went back to my cheap apartment.  I sat down and looked forlornly at my dinner plate.  It was empty.  I then awoke from the nightmare.

Upon waking, I realized immediately what the dream was telling me.  I frantically turned my computer on, got online, and checked at amazon.com for my pre-order (made in December).

Hmm, interesting.  The order says it is pre-ordered and that it will be delivered this month.  But I still had a twinge of doubt, so I actually investigated the particulars of the order.  I looked at the credit card number and realized something horrible.  Something awful.  There was a hook on the car door!!!

No wait, that's a campfire ghost story.  I meant to say:

Shocked Shocked Shocked  THE CREDIT CARD HAD EXPIRED!!!   Shocked Shocked Shocked

If I hadn't have looked, the purchase would have been declined and I would have had to wait even longer for the game!

I can only feel that the dream was a gift from the heavens.
