I prefer RTS and thought the demo, albeit not expansive, was pretty cool. |

Demo was okay. Didn't think much of it. In fact, the gameplay steals a lot of ideas from others. The game tends to be unoriginal in style and gameplay. Not to mention it lacks depth. Maybe it's just me. The demo wasn't much to ride home about. BUt sure do let us know how it works out. If the review is good enough, maybe I'll break down and purchase a copy.

Stronghold IS out in UK saw copy last Friday in either Game or Electronique Boutique.
There are demos on cover of magazines (e.g.) Strategy Player 15 (UK) but Ive seen no full reviews. I'm always suspicious of games that sneak out before there are full reviews.

I would suggest that we hoof over to their local Mail Boxes Etc, (or one of their ilk) and get a mail drop so when Sixx sends Airport Tycoon and Stronghold out to people, our addresses remain somewhat confidential...
(Then again - you can be homeless like I am. Then you don't have to worry about what your address is!)

I visited the official homepage http://stronghold.godgames.com/index2.html(with lots of flashy stuff that takes a long time to download) and read the forum entries. Gave me a somewhat ambivalent view of the game. The general appearance seem nice, but there are bugs, and most entries are about technical problems... Perhaps I'll consider to buy it when they've done some more bug-fix patches for it. Cheers Olle |

I think stronghold is a great game, and since tropico isn't working with me now (something to do with geforce 2 mx 400/200), I am playing stronghold  But, knowing my luck stronghold does have a bug which make it crash at mission 13......anyone else have this problem?  |
