Then *why* dig it up again?

Enough, enough. Let it go. There is no hard rule that says he can't post here. It is like saying that it's wrong to drag the Hangman up when it has not been in use for so long.
This thread was previously (had extreme potential to) turning into a flame war. Hence... there is no need to resurrect it from the dead... *TWICE*. Also, simply posting that a thread is dead not only bumps the thread but is also borderline spam... which, rules or not, is bad N'Etiquette on almost any and every message board/forum on the Internet.
Bumping ancient message threads, unless you have something
extremely pertinent to post or say is generally considered bad N'Etiquette ('been like on the 'Net that for a decade and a half or so), and simply adds more clutter to an already cluttered message board.
From another message thread:
I know you people get mad when a post come alive again but oh well,
Not as long as there is a bit of valid content within the message reply.
