Hey, thanks again everyone! I did have a good day and a good night out for dinner with Mrs.G. She gave me a copy of Microsoft Train Simulator, which I had not had time to pick up yet. It was even her suggestion to get it! Now I have to convince her it's time to buy that new computer so I can play it. 1.8 Gig for a full install! Sheesh. But as a birthday gift to myself, I did talk her into agreeing to trying out high-speed DSL with Sympatico and it's great! Sure beats my old 33.6k modem, even on a 166 Pentium. So maybe I can keep up with the board more now. By the way, all who wished me a happy birthday will be immortalized in my upcoming scenario. Most of you were already there, and some other old-timers as well, so don't feel bad if you didn't post. Expected release date is Oct. 14! And now I'm off for Thanksgiving weekend so will be away til Monday night. See you then. |

I hope you enjoy that Train Simulator Dave, I've heard the graphics are aw-inspiring. I also hope you enjoy Sympatico, I have Rogers myself but am looking into switching.
And it's so nice that we can be immortalized... the nicest thing is that it'll be released on my bithd... opps. Have I said too much?
