Sadly, Canada has a communist party and sadly they are the POOREST group of people I have ever seen. I swear, if they were living in tropico, they would be to poor to own shacks. Then again...... SURPRESE THE TROPICANS!

Well, I'm disoriented...

I surmise that it is a three-man party comprised of guys named Eddy, Harry, and William, who share an apartment in one of the poorer sections of one of the cities.
Harry ran for a regional civic position recently.  He was defeated in a landslide.
If anyone is thick enough to think that I'm not kidding right now...

Its been 4 days and I'm much better @ this game and its gotten real easy. Grin  A great game, i concurr with you all. Grin

However, I'm quite amazed that none of you have ever heard of the Canadian Communist Party.  You're all afraid of change.  Frightened like little girls of something that might straighten the country out.

Maybe you guys are right. Roll Eyes  I want to live in a country with a Dollar of 0.60$.  Where idiots like Chretien can give themselves 56% pay hikes.  The people do not truly speak out and tell politicians what they want.  They want peace, equality, bread and a just life.  When the communist party finally gets a say in federal politics, the brave people will help us, but the weak will shy away.  Afraid.  Like you.  But inside the weak, they know a social communist society is what they need, and want.

China thrives.  Korea thrives.  Canada dies.  Such a beautiful country.  What a waste. Cry

1983 - Kevin Nellstrom: Elected to Alberta Legislature
Communist Party.

Enough people care to elect an official representative to the Legislature.  Don't fear us, join us.

>:(Tropico is biased towards capitalism.  It makes me sick.

Well, now that I've vented I hope you all realise change is in the air, but tonight, I rejoice.

Later peeps!

Leninism.

Yoko never sang that well, in my opinion.  Julian is a dead ringer (voicewise) for departed dad John. No pun intended there. Too bad he was shot.

Then there were those sisters on that old fogey's show in the '60's.

Oh yeah, they were the Lennon Sisters.

 Nevermind.

 Imagine.

Lennon Lives!

We all could learn a thing or two from the songs made by both The Beatles and John Lennon.  They all speak of love, peace and happiness.  I urge you peps to listen to John Lennon's song "Imagine".  There are some real powerful words there, not to mention the fact that it can make you think!

Anyways, as Peron said...

Imagine.

The Canadian Communist Party is a minority.  The majority of Canadian citizens will never want to become Communist.  Unless of coarse you force them to... wait, isn't that stalinism? (thanks redsentry for enlighting me on the differences b/w the different communist states).  Most independant and minority parties have no chance once so ever in the polls.  The only independant Canadian political party that I would ever vote for would be the Canadian Action Party!  (Oh yeah, don't you just love that good ol' canadian pride!)

BTW, I personally think that the whole business with the American election was a bunch of balony and a waste of public television.  Many a day I have wanted to watch a good show like the simpsons but because of those da.mn election news flashes I kept being disturbed.  It took what, over a month for you people to figure out who was president while it took one night for us!  hahahahahaha... pathetic.

CRA actaully whenever I play the commies lovee me the capitalists are my problem children.  In a open game communism is a lot easier to side with in the beginning.  (And this from a rabid procapitalist  Shocked)

I focus on two goals faction wise. Keeping the communists and the capitalists happy. As my economy grows the capitalists faction grows. As long as you keep a grip on unemployment youre golden. As for the communists, just keep the income diversity low and have plenty of farms. Ive finished several reigns with both factions dancing in the streets. The real problem is consistently handling the other three (IMO).

Tropico has got to be the most stressful game ever invented.  At first I thought it would be pretty simple, but there is so much you have to monitor and ..., Tropico is just wa-ay too hard.  Have any of you had problems adapting to it?  ...  I love the communist aspect of the game, but if you make your regime communist, you always seem to suffer.  ...  Communism is the way to go.

Its been 4 days and I'm much better @ this game and its gotten real easy. A great game, i concur with you all. ... Tropico is biased towards capitalism.  It [that] makes me sick.  ...

LOL -- Meanwhile, Ole and others maintain that the game is slanted to Marxism.

The game has lots of features which the player may ignore or watch. Watching all of them is quite stressful from a time management view. In fact, just trying to discover all of them can take you real world years.
