I'd toss in a pittance as well, given all the fun I've had here. You could get lots of donations if you put ad banners on the internet warning that, if CafeTropico folds, the members will spend less time at the keyboard and more time roaming the streets. The horror, the horror...  |

I'm still wanting five ridiculously overpriced t-shirts!  I guess I'll have to actually go gift shopping before the holidays. I'm also not totally opposed to driving to Hamilton on a dark cloudy night and depositing a nondescript, hermetically sealed envelope containing unmarked small bills on your doorstep.  Geez, I'm desperate for a good road trip. |

Hey, thanks for all your kind offers people! But I would feel guilty taking anyone's money. And funny you should mention T-shirts, as I just last night signed on with the online store Cafepress.com and sent a letter off tonight to PopTop to ask permission to go ahead with sales there. I think it would be more convenient for everyone to do it through them. My other activity tonight was to design the logo for the shirts! I'll post it when I have a draft ready to see if you approve. And if anyone still wants to deposit an envelope of small unmarked bills at my doorstep, you're more than welcome! If you do drive to Hamilton Railnut, please let me know and we can do some railfanning. And if all the online store idea doesn't pan out, maybe I'll incorporate the Cafe so members can buy shares and share in the huge profits. |
