I had to abstain from voting because several of the choices... I like equally. A nice enhancement for polls would be allowing the originator to make a choice:
1) May only vote for one item on the list
2) Allow people to vote for 2 or more items on the list

 My favourite food is British food - if I could only eat one type of food that's what I'd choose. Really. I reckon you can't beat good British grub. But if I have to choose only one of the above it would be Italian. Though I do like Indian & Chinese.

my parents make really nice roast dinners......roasted meat of some kind, roast potatoes, gravy, yorkshire pudding....ummmmmm so roast dinners are British and that has forced me to vote for british food and fish and chips of course i also like burgers, steaks and italian food |

What is "hot pot"?
Oooopps nearly forgot to answer El. Hot pot is like a stew. Lancashire hot pot is lamb, onions, potatos with some herbs and seasonings. They can really be anything, all cooked in a big pot either on top of the stove or in the oven. Kinda like a gumbo I suppose. |

Nothing beats a good old Irish Breakfast! My friends went to France on school tour and breakfast was served at some unearthly hour of the morning so they missed it the first two days but when he eventually did get down for breakfast the waiter brought him 2 breadrolls! (They were saying to themselves hem no buffet table or breakfast counter! Wow the waiters must bring your food to you! Anyway they finished the rolls 9what they thought was a starter!!) in about 5min and waited around for the Breakfast for about 1/2 hour saying to themselves "god isn't the service slow!!" They eventually found out that the 2 rolls was their breakfast! Needless to say they were NOT impressed!! Plus irish food contains one of the lowest levels of toxins in the world!! As there are no incinerators on the Island of Ireland! As far as I know Ireland and New Zealand have the healthiest beef/lamb in the world!
