I was playing the New Havana scenario last night for fun and I noticed a tourist sun bathing... inside of a shack!!  It was strange, he was no where near my main tourist area.  He was lying there with his head and torso inside of the shack and his legs outside (through the door).  Just wanted to know if anyone else had ever seen this.  I guess he wanted to sunbathe, but didn't want to pay the $10 to go to the beach site.

Maybe he was dead. Did you click on him and see what he was thinking. I have seen a few tropicans kick off, half in and half out of buildings.

Nope, he was alive, I forget what he was thinking, but he never thought "I'm Dying" like the natives do.  Plus, he was only wearing his bathing suit and he was lying on a towel just like they do at the beach or pool.  It was really strange.

Any idea how long he was waiting there?  Maybe he was there first and some villager built a shack on the same space?  Shacks pop up quite suddenly, as we know, so maybe it was one of those one in a million shots.

On that note, you get a picture?  It could net you some fame, ya know....

Well, when I checked my saved game last night, he wasn't there.  So I started a new scenario of New Havana and it happened again!!  This time it was a chick.  If the pic below doesn't work or is too small, try this URL for a full sized image.  (Sorry, I don't know why this thing keeps double posting my pic and it won't let me do straight HTML.)

Oh yeah... and my beach site was nowhere near this spot.  This is next to the original dock while the beach site was right next to the starting cabana's.

So, since this has happened twice, I watched her and after a little while, she just stood up and walked away.  There were no strange thoughts in her head, just the usual "I'm off to see the sites" and "So this is paradise" kind of stuff.

Weird.

They can fix that glitch while they add the ability to rotate buildings and offer another twenty buildings and ten more character traits to choose from.  Hey, I'm greedy.

They're never fixing the rotating buildings.  It wasn't a mistake.
