Is it just me?

Please somebody tell me it's something to do with my mouse and not extremely bad playability with Tropico. Just purchased it and installed it. Win2K, TNT 2 graphics card, no probs with installation or anything. But when I go to play it, and start the tutorial or scenario, there is a big problem. When I move the mouse, the whole friggin' screen moves. I try to get the mouse to the bottom of the screen to click on the magnifying glass and end up moving all way down to the sea. Please, please, please tell me this is just a little bug that I can sort easily and not how the game is supposed to be played - otherwise, I will have to take it back.

I suggest you contact support at Poptop, unless you've got a dud, the game works pretty well.

Maybe you're playing at a resolution that doesn't really fit on your screen? Try hitting <F2> and adjusting your screen resolution; maybe you need to play at a lower resolution.

Another thought: Are you playing with software or hardware 3D? You can see that in the <F2> settings page also. Some people (me included) have cursor problems with hardware acceleration.
