In a pre set game how do I find out the characteristics (and the name) of the ruler?  Similiarly how do you find out what actions are vetoed (eg papal visit - building a cathedral/university)?
It obviously helps to know whether you're a moron/female/religous etc.

You need to look in the almanac under the political tab and the view character link.
