Since starting the November Competition my chart is getting full with the 1,000 scored each time I finish.  Is there any way of deleting all but one?

Well as you said - isn't it nice when the answer is more confusing than the question.  I found data 2 and hiscore but never got the chance to try opening it in anything as it chose Explorer for itself and just flashed over it. Any other ideas (in simple language for a layman!!!).

What Rich Nagel wrote in that other thread is that you can't edit the hiscore file without a hex editor. And he certainly knows more about it than I do.

I had to rush off to work this morning so I didn't have time to post this.

CafeDave has posted about a free downloadable hex editor in this thread. Read it, then you may decide if you want to try it. I haven't quite worked up the nerve, or the time, to give it a go yet.

Right I read it and one thing I know for sure is that I aint going to try it !!!!!  My computer skills are nowhere near good enough.  I just got two more scores above 1,000 so if I keep it up they'll vanish of their own accord!

hehehe That would be the safe way for us less than proficient computer users. But I just know that someday I'll try the hex editor. The curiosity will get the best of me sooner or later.
