Questions on text art

I was wondering what the following things do:

(shadow=red,left,300)(glow=red,2,300)TEXT(/glow)(/shadow)

I have replaced the bracketes with parentheses and colored what I am wondering about to attempt to clarify what I am saying

For the green "left", It would logically determine which direction the shadow is cast, but does not seem to in tests I have preformed.

I assume the two red "300"'s do the same thing, but can not determine what when I play with the numbers.

And finaly, what does the "2" that I colored orange do?

Any help would be appreciated, along with the list of usable fonts via the (font=font)(/font) tool.

I've been very succesful with text art for the most part, the TEXT shouldn't be there. I have so far only figured out that the left in the beginning of shadow is in fact, useless, but can be replaced by a number of degrees, but I forgot what the increments of accepted degrees not rounded was...

Ah wait, its by 45 degree increments.

The other stuff, anyone? Dave?
