Getting kicked out after ship returns in Campaign

Hey all!  Just got back in to this game after not playing for a long time.  I decided to pick up my Campaign again, but then I remembered why I stopped playing.  Around the 7th or 8th scenario in the campaign (not sure which-I'm at work right now, so I can't check), everytime Charlotte returns from a mission I send her on, I get kicked out of the game and back to the desktop.  I tried sending her on different missions or doing other things before I send her out, but I always get the same result.  Anyone else have this problem??

It was a year ago I was on that stage.  But no problems like that.  Sounds as though something is corrupt or missing.  Re-install maybe.   Good luck.
