Cats: "I own you all"
"Come here tasty parrot!"

If you find a chimp that claims he's a pirate, it would be neat if you could press gang him into service  Grin

How many Silver spoons does it take to change a lightbulb: One to hold the bulb while the world revolves around them.

How many environmentalists does it take to change a lightbulb? None, they're all outside protesting the power plant.

How many teamsters does it take to change a lightbulb: 1, but it'll never get done. There are 38.4 units of lightbulbs piled up at the factory and nobody is doing a dadgumed thing with them.

A few new ones:

"Mi vaca esta en fuego!" Not positive, since I don't know Spanish, but I think it's "My cow is on fire!" (according to the translator at babel.altavista.com)

"Los penguinos aqui son muy guapo." I figured out it's about penguins, other than that the translator didn't like it, so I'm not sure.

"Work.  Who're you callin' a hoe?" - wench

"Oh dear! This outfit feels kind of tight! Maybe I'll diet." - male pirate

This is not a thought, but I thought it kind of funny to see a pirate (I think it was a pirate, not a captive), named John Cleese.   Cheesy

I wish I had a pirate named John Cleese.  Undecided  That's even better than the one named Winston Churchill I had in the demo.

You got the penguins part right, what it says is "The penguins here are very handsome"

Whatever that means.... I haven't seen any penguins...

Ok I have one... I was following around Captain Morgan (who just LOVES wenching) and happened to have his thoughts screen open... when he went into the brothel it said "Blow me down!"
I got a big giggle out of that one considering the context Smiley

From Roseanne the Captain (I forget her last name): "Cruise time.  I trust there's enough food on board this time."

Couple of random thoughts...
"I always wondered what a hot ball of lead entering my body would feel like. Thanks [pirate name]" (captive being shot)
"I think I'll build a giant robot sea turtle out of coconuts and escape the island." (captive about to escape)
"Serve me, humans." (the cat)
"I'm starting to think Darwin was right." (the cat)

And it appears someone from Tropico 1 stowed onboard to tropico 2... Going through my wealthy captives, who should I find but Fidel Castro!
And randomly had Michael Douglas working as an unskilled lumberjack. And why not?

This isn't actually a quote in the game, but it would make sense. For an english wench to quote Queen Elisibeth
"Lay back and think of England"
