OK, this is a two-parter:

First, I'm playing this on a Mac -- I hunted around for a Mac-specific forum, but couldn't find one.

So, Q1: anyone know of a such a forum?

Actual Q: I've had haulers just sit in the Sea Ration factory in two games now despite plenty o' corn in the farms and zero in the instock for the Sea Ration factory. I've tried firing 'em and replacing them, but the new hauler just sits there, too. I've also made sure there was a supervisor, but that didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

So far as I know there is no MAC only forum.

I am not a T2 player - PC or MAC; however, it sounds as if the sea ration building is not properly connected with the road system.

Are haulers from other corn using buildings picking up corn from the farms? Perhaps the farms are not connected with the road system.

Are the farms producing enough corn to supply all users? Perhaps the other haulers are grabbing all the corn before the sea ration hauler gets the word.

 Huh

The brewery next door was doing just fine, so I know the corn distribution works.

I shut down (but didn't delete) the Sea Ration factory and created another one; the latter worked fine. Several "months" later I reopened to worker slots for the first one, and it behave normally -- didn't have any access or distribution problems.

[I had tried firing the hauler and hiring a different one previously, but that hadn't worked; done the same with the cooks.]

I'll return here with more details if I run into this again; 'course it might just be a bug on the Mac side, but that seems unlikely since this part of the game's code would probably not depend significantly on system calls and would be invariant between OSes. Strange.

I get this problem too (also with chuck tents - sometimes the hauler magically disappears at the farm and reappears in the chuck tent then idles).  I don't have a Mac.

The idle haulers start hauling eventually.  I have never had this problem with skeletons.

There's a post << somewhere >> in which a developer states that "teletransportation" is the default movement between buildings when there is some sort of blockage in the normal movement mode.
