Soldier scenario - not that hard

I did it!! My first hard scenario completed!

Actually it wasn't that hard. I did it pretty straight forward - I refused all offers (mining) and kept following the orders from the agency - army base (1957) and power plant (1959) only building some extra bunkhouses along the way, which was quiet unnecessary (my people love me), a house for my general, which I hired just in case and a teamster office, for temporary exports.

I said no to the first elections, although the preliminary results advanced a total victory of 15 to 1. I just hadn't the time for small stuff.

Maybe I'll repeat this scenario and try to accomplish the second objective, to build the airport. This should raise the scenario's difficulty. But this time I'll have to re-think the location of the 3 farms, to leave the unforested area free for the airport.

wow, thats impressive.  how did you get money.  I know this is lame, but I can't seem to get the cash flow going    .  I tried putting my farms in the woods and putting two of them on a pineapple harvest, but to no avail.

Can't really remember my strategy for this one, I did it almost 2 years ago.
I'll dig through my backups and see if I can find this game....
