During scripting, I found myself trying to remember where certain zones were located in relation to one another and what their zone # is so I created this map. I figure it might be useful to other people also.

Thanks, TJ. Even if I don't use that for scripting, I'm sure I'll find some use for it (like as a new desktop image).

If you mean where the spots for the settlements are located then I have no idea. I know that every zone except the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf Of Mexico can have settlements. If you were talking about adding the number of possible settlement locations to the map, I thought about doing that also and still can if you want.

If you want to add the number of possible settlement spots in each area, I'm sure someone will find it useful.

Thanks jonedwards, but I already found those, I just wanted them on the map.
I just tried to set up a scenario which places settlements in all possible locations, set each region knowledge to max and reveal all settlements. It didn't work because apparently each zone can only have one settlement for each nation.
I can add settlements of the same nation to different spots in one zone, but only the first one in map.txt can be revealed.
So, what's the purpose of the different settlement positions in these areas? Is it purely for the looks (so settlements don't always appear on the exact same location) ?

Yes, partly for looks. But also in a game (like Sandbox) in which some settlements will be randomly placed, the zones wiht the most spots are the most likley places for settlements to turn up.

Okay, as requested, here is the new version. The first # is the zone # and the second # is the # of possible settlement positions.

Thanks, TJ, for posting this scenario design aid. I've worked up a couple of scenarios and this map made it much easier to set up the environment for them.
Thanks again!
