Cannon Foundry- numbers

The Cannon Foundry is one of the Tropico2 buildings.  It produces...wait for it...Cannons.  A unit of wood (raw wood - not sawn lumber) and a unit of pig iron is combined to make a cannon.

Only Engineers can work in a cannon foundry.  One or two and no overseer.  No unskilled workers either.

The table below is my record from observations.  No surprises - the production rate (per 100 days worked) just keeps going up as the skills of the engineers increases.

The Cannon Foundry is one of three ways to equip your ships with cannons. The other two are purchase via the Black Market or via capture on a cruise (piracy) mission.

Surplus Cannons from the Cannon Foundry (but not the other sources) can be hauled (maximum load of 4 at a time) to the Smugglers Cove and sold for a base price of $100 each.

  I once started the game with Master Gunner Trait and I had an engineer producing cannons for 16 years... One engineer, 16 years... = 200+ cannons

I had 167 left in the foundry.... should have opened a smugglers cove but I was raking in too much from everybody on cruises
