A couple of people have asked how to post a screen shot.

How do you do it ?  I believe there are several ways.

I dont use any way built into the game.  Instead

- I have a keyboard button called 'PrtSc SysRq'.  I press it. Then..
- I alt/tab to my desktop and open MS Paint
- Paste the screenshot into MS Paint..see below
- 'Save as' in MS paint. As a jpeg type with a unique name
- Then use MS Paint to crop the image to size...fliping the image both horizontally and vertically so I can crop the other two sides. Then reflip back to normal !
- resave the image
Its then ready to be attached to a posting on this board.

Last Played Tropico2 in Oct2004...after 9 months of playing it.  Not bad value for a £10 purchase.

Thanks for starting this thread. Smiley

You can also use some supplementary programs that run in the background and monitor your clipboard. It saves from Alt + Tabbing out for each and every shot. Wink

My favourite is ClipMate (shareware). You just hit PrinScreen and the program reads what's been copied to the clipboard and stores it itself. Then, they can be exported to BMP or JPG. I usually use BMP and then convert into JPG using Paint Shop Pro. Smiley

Despite my appearance above, I'm really a hatter.

- I had success with the Print Screen method in the past, but thought that the CTRL-ALT-S one didin't work.  I just discovered that this method (mentioned in the manual )saves the images as TGA (?) files in the Tropico 2 folder on the desktop .  I then just opened them in Photoshop and then adjusted/cropped/enlarged to my hearts content...
