Haunt display is too often empty

Somethings not right here.

The menu option that displays the pirate's haunts is not one I use very much.  Its supposed to show a pirates favourite eating, drinking, betting, wenching place.  If the pirate has never endulged in a particular form of entertainment he will not have a haunt for that category.

I regulary see pirates with no haunts.  Its as if something makes them forget their haunt.  I've not pinned down what that something is.

I've never noticed this but like you it's not an option I use very often. Are you sure it's not a new recruit who hasn't visited anywhere yet?

Ive since used this a lot to keep tabs on the satisfaction pirates and wealthy captives receive from the various entertainment buildings.

There is something I dont understand here.  Ive seen pirates leave a building still with an empty haunt display still..whilst others record the haunt as soon as they first enter it.

Unless just maybe..they have to have a 'rank alignment' to the building as they enter it to trigger this haunt recollection.  Added to the list for further observation.
