Notoriety

I have questions about pirate and captain notoriety. How do they increase, and what is a general timeframe? When I am playing, I notice an immediate 1 point increase from the base points albeit from my "Dreadful Notoriety" trait or possibly even tampering with the script, but I can only get +1 from a leg. I wan't more than infamy!

I think it is basically gradually increasing depending on how many ships the cap'n has sunk compared to how many times the cap'n ha slost a ship and crew, if the cap'n is always getting shipwrecked afer all, the cap'n isn't going to be very notorious.

very true. thanks, finally for the input. I also think bigger catches will be beneficial along with walk the plank, possibly.
