Some people are reporting that in year 2001 on Tropico doctors started perscribing Viagra to some people. The results were astonishing. I enclose a picture for you to review. Grin Grin

Elections? Who needs elections?!

 Grin

Well, this is one situation where having a cabaret dancer who is 60 years old would make some sence.

Hey Zebe. Nice picture and welcome.

9 visits last year  Undecided...is it because viagra is allowing  visitors a long stay ? Grin

Do those old folk take a long time to shuffle to the building blocking it for more frequent visits by younger, closer and more nimble customers ?

Your cash needs a dose of Viagra  Wink

Well I like my tropicans feelin good so i set price for "senoritas"  at 0$ and there you go desperate pensioners all go for the free senoritas.  Smiley The reason why they're staying that long inside is probablly a. They've been scamed and the viagras aren't real so senoritas are having problems getting it up b. Pensioners do take longer time to "shuffle"  Grin or c. They walk slower so it takes them ages to get to the senoritas. Oh yeah another thing I hope non of them die of stroke while in a cabaret and than stay there dead for another 3 months or so. Sad I'm glad u like the picture i'll be posting more.

A recently built tenement.
The second picture is the rebel army of that island.

I only had 64 soldiers against 151 rebels, so basically I was kicked off the island.

It was in a scenario, maybe that was it.

I'll take a look at the events, maybe UnitUIRebelLikelihood and UnitUIRespect were modified, or rebels were dropped by script.

Well, whatever it is, you must have been *very* unpopular as well as incredibly hard to drive out of office.

I found it!:

233.evt adds 50 rebels in 1990

875.evt adds 95 in 1995

Six rebels must have been my own.

The tenement was leveled in 1991 - my palace died in 1995, four years before the end of the game. The first screenshot is of 1990, the second one of 1995.

Rebels [were] added every five years from 1970 (I only just worked through the remaining events):

5 in 1970   (545.evt)
10 in 1975 (415.evt)
10 in 1980 (867.evt)
25 in 1985 (237.evt)
50 in 1990 (233.evt)
95 in 1995 (875.evt)

If only he had used more logical event names...

Twelve rebels in a tenement, most are women. They are living in it for free. Can't you save a few dollars by putting it on roach patrol? Besides, they hate you anyway.

I started charging rent. Maybe they got angry and leveled it because of that? Do rebels even move in to housing with rent? - I never checked back.

How is it that you have a peasant picture? It can't be that you have fallen so far from the seat of glory.

So long as they have a working spouse to pay the rent, they can stay. But they do split expenses. they will not live in a place that is more than a third of the familys' income.

Well, senor, for some people, when thet think themselves old, they are old. But those who go on, they sometimes refuse to think of themselves as truely old and broken (and on death's doorsteps).

It is rather strange that a 64 year-old would play Trpoico and talk to young whippersnappers like S_stabeler and I.

Anybody else who is that young at heart?
