Does anyone have a family history or more to share? I kept up with one family, through five generations for seventy-five years. Here it is....

Married to: Jasper Gioberti - 1946 (left the island in 1994)

Generation 3:

Child of Paula and Jasper:

Juanita Gioberti - Sept. 1972-present

Married to: Hippolito DiMera - 1955-Jan. 2021 (heart attack)

Married to: Anthony Orlando - 1995-present

Rafael DiMera - Nov. 1997-present

Married to: Jimena Chernenko - 1999-present

Hernan DiMera - Oct. 1998-Feb. 2006 (starvation)

Rosada DiMera - Dec. 1999-Late 2005 (starvation)

That's a pretty interesting idea. It would also be cool if you included their professions, etc.

BTW, How do you know when people left the island? Is there something in the almanac about that?

Ive done some of my own persoanl family tree research.  There are many cheap computer programmes that could be used to record and present such family histories.

You would still have to look up the people regulary of course.

They're alot easier to track if you tag em by renamnig people, jsut track the old name, if you wish. I have a family in 3rd genaration, 14 people, 5 had high school ed, and 3 have college, so that makes em a big name on the island, sinjce the patriach ran agaisnt me in my first election, and his grandaughter ran agiasnt me some elections later.

Are you sure they're not becoming too powerful a clan? Maybe you should take 'em down a notch... Send them to labor in the fields or re-educate them. Clearly, their views are against urs. Unless it was just a chummy election.

The patriatch was my lone general in my first election, so my army wasn't to big and he ran militant. His grandaughter ran on a capitalist platform when I was in some bad debt. Normally, they're on my side when I didn't screw something up, and most of the children leave for America, expect the one or two who become politically active. If it was in the game, I'd set out to marry one of the daugthers.

... I have a new familial chart which consists of six generations. ...

That's interesting information.

I'll suggest two points:
First, "cause" of death other than starvation is assigned randomly. That is to say that any "cause" other than 'starvation' or the random event 'disease' is simply verisimilitude.
Second, when running tests, most players don't bother going past the year 2000. The parameters set according to the basic game story really become invalid after 50 years.
