Hey people, im a bit new too Tropico 2 and all this forum business but thought it about time I join in!

I had Tropico 1 years ago and thought it was good, so naturally bought Tropico 2 and ive been playing it at all times of day. I think its a great game and as such appear to be quite far in, Scenario 11 I think, ive got to hoard £10000 and build a fleet to take on the Spanish in 1699.

Does anyone know if there are any whispers of a Tropico 3 yet, as ive spent so much time on this, im scared im going to finish it and have nothing to do!! Grin

Hi  PC Doug UK

Welcome to the forum.  Good to have people join in our little community.

Im also hooked on Trop2 and still refining my play after 8 months.

Let us know your scores as you go through the campaign - theres a score table on this forum.  And theres plenty of scenarios made by other players you can move on to when you have finished the campaign.

As for Trop3 - Im not aware of any work going on.  We had a wish list of what we want on this forum somewhere but I dont recall any hint it was actually going to happen.  Id settle for a little patch to fix a few things in Trop2 personally.

Last Played Tropico2 in Oct2004...after 9 months of playing it.  Not bad value for a £10 purchase.

Yes, and there are even competitions!  Grin

Just to echo Severous' sentiments--there are many GREAT scenarios posted on this site. If you finish them all and have nothing to do, then either you are a Tropico deity or have WAY too much time on your hands.  Cheesy

Cafe Dave's "Curse of the Blue Parrot" scenario is a T2 scenario I'd highly recommend.

It's fun to charter an accountant
And sail the wide accountancy,
To find, explore the funds offshore
And skirt the shoals of bankruptcy!

It can be manly in insurance.
We'll up your premium semi-annually.
It's all tax deductible.
We're fairly incorruptible,
We're sailing on the wide accountancy!
