i'm been tryng to figure out a way to renovate my urban areas without demolishing things, and I came up with these ideas.

Improving Buildings

I build a house, fit for an family with one highschooler, but college grads or a faction leader move in, so I want to make it a nicer place, so I'd pay maybe $500 bucks and sacrifce a mw, and a construction team builds an imrpoved house, that looks nicer and has a higher quality. This could be done with several buildings like facories or hotels and what not.

Technology

Laboratory
18,000, 5mw of electricity, employs 5 professors, requires college to build

With a Laboratory,Your researchers could develop new technologies (Perhaps not develop them, but confgure them for Tropico. These technologies help your nation be more efficent, for example of advances and technology

Military Tribunes-decreases coup risk
Digital Encryption-makes banks for effective
Agirculture Chemicals- Increases farm production

and so on.
