During the 40´ies, one small island on the caribbean thrived. Despite ongoing war on europe, this small remote place under the guidance of educated invidual continued to grow and prosper. Being one of the old colonies of spain, this now independent island was place of natural beauty and well being. Then the disaster struck... One of the regular storms escalated into fullblown hurricane. Buildings were shattered, people killed or badly injured. Even the islands El Presidente, while enjoying his favorite past time, fishing, was lost during this horrible night. When dawn came, light revealed the true horror of destruction. Only 30 people were left on this lush, resource rich island, and of all buildings, only palace, docks and four farms remained. During the first days, one of the makeshift shacks was organized into teamsters office and one into construction office. As people started to recover, one invidual among them step up. Being well known biblical scholar , this charismatic and hardworking invididual quickly gained support from frightened inhabitants. Despite being pompous and regarded as religious zealot by some of the more calmer people, popular opinion quickly became that it was gods will that he would lead us. Therefore, the reign of Nasufer started as religious appointment.

Watching quietly as people started to begin their normal lifes again despite that hurricane had passed only few days ago, El presidente listened his advisors monotonous voice. Practically everything from islands previous wealth was now gone. UN had sent 10.000. to aid imminent repairs, and now question was how to use it. Turning away from window El presidente interrupted his advisor. "We need to take care of important things first. Now deceased previous presidente tried to do his best, but I warned him that God would not tolerate his tendency to neglet Him. As He has saved us from His full wrath, we must thank Him by building a church. Immediately. It is also clear that we must be able to restore our economy, so build a Lodging camp near that treeline". El presidente pointed to the direction of lush forest, and advisor quickly wrote down every word. Looking at some corn left over from breakfast, El presidente added: "And tell one of those farm foremen that somebody should begin growing papaya. With new banana grove to be built....there...we should have a bit more diverse food which will be needed to strengthen our bodies as priests strengthen our souls." Advisor wrote everything down, and stared at El presidente waiting for more. After a long silence, El presidente added: "Ah, yes. Do not hire more palace guards, dockworkers or teamsters. I do understand that you might not see it, but we do not need them right now. They would just loiter all day and we all know that idle hands are the playground of devil..." El presidente made the sign of the cross piously and nodded to his silent advisor. "Yes, you may leave and do as I told you." Advisor nodded and quickly left, leaving El presidente alone to wonder what might be future of this island and its inhabitants.
