BTW, in Georgie's post #49, I see only the "red 'X's" rather than pictures for both images.

As I say, I am grossly stupid and do not know how to operate my PC. So what I see is really not important to the brilliant programmers such as yourself.

Strange... both of the images that Georgie post worked the first time, but now they (as well as the links that CK posted) do not.

Me thinks that it's something to do with Yahoo's photo site... (@Georgie) they don't like hotlinking of files and images :wink:

The photo URLs are probably dynamically generated, meaning they change on a daily basis (to prevent hotlinking).

My pictures turned out well, so far. I don't see the why there is the big grousing over my pictures' address if you can see something other than a little box with a red X.

Maybe it is good that certain things are locked out of view from general public view. Actually, the flag picture is in a little Public Album that I had created.

Yeah. I think that is way Yahoo does it. I had the pictures in cache, but when I refreshed, they disappeared.

The problem with my avatar is the same as with all uploaded attachments here at the Cafe.

The problem (that will hopefully be corrected by GameSpy soon) reared it's ugly head the day that I was updating/uploading my avatar. I got an error message, and the result is the borken link red square thing.

I noticed something extraordinarily unusual. It is the blinking eyes of the last guy on the right of the picture: His eyes were blinking!

Yeah. I took all those pictures.... and that isnt blinking eyes, it is raising eyebrows.

It's an 'animated gif'.
It runs two (or more) alternate pictures, in a loop. You can do it using common shareware apps.
