Construction is vitally important to your rule of Tropico.
It allows you to expand, to produce goods, to meet the needs of your
citizens and create a military able to suppres.. er, protect
them.Efficient management of your laborers is one of the most
important abilities you can have, especially early on. You'll need a
lot of these guys around for quite a while. Without a large crew of
laborers, you won't get much done. But with a large crew, you'll
have a large subsector of blue-collar workers to keep happy.

Comments: Tropico isn't the most egalitarian of societies, but
sometimes practicality takes precedence over tradition. One
example is seen in the construction industry. Tropico has
laborers of both genders because of the need for lots strong,
healthy workers. Despite gender differences, all of your
laborers work hard to build the facilities your island
needs. Chopping down trees, leveling the ground,
building the structure- a building takes a lot of time and effort to
make. And afterwards, there are roads to lay, old buildings to
bulldoze, shrubs to plant... A laborer's job is never done! |
