Zerohero made stupid assumptions and called 50 Cent's credibility as a hardcore gamer into question in the thread "What do you hate about the gaming media?" [1] Many forum members noted that there is no such thing as a hardcore gamer so therefore, there is no criteria on what constitutes one. Zerohero did not relent. The following are quotes by Zerohero on the subject.

"This was never a issue, but its annoying hearing rap stars like 50cent talk about being a hardcore gamer." [2]

"There are many factors that come into play when determining a "gamer" vs casual. Examples would be, age , era of gaming, years played, how much they are into gaming, and gaming related things, and experience. Also, to be a "gamer" you dont have to be exceptionaly good. Kano On The Phone proved that 50 Cent was a hardcore gamer by noting "I heard that there's a few 50 Cent DoDonPachi superplays on the net somewhere" [10] and "I just read an article in Source, and apparently the reason he's called 50 Cent is because that's how much it cost him to beat DoDonPachi DaiOuJou the first time he played it." [11] Zerohero continued to argue, despite the overwhelming evidence against him. [12]
