Spiritual ancestor to TNL. A magazine with decidedly awful presentation and giddy, fanboyish reviews that included odd imports more than other magazines in its day. After folding, its staff attempted a new magazine, GameGO!, which perished after one issue. The GameGO! community adopted TNL as their new home. Some GameFan staff as well as a few TNL members and others later formed Hardcore Gamer Magazine which, despite criticism surrounding its dry writing and questionable cover art, has survived over a year now.
